I am so proud
My Dad was a young man in Detroit during the civil rights movement. Many of his friends were African American and he marched alongside them during protests against injustices. My Dad told me on the phone last night as he choked up on his joyful tears that he’s been waiting his whole life to vote for a black president. And now, for those who have fought so hard for equality and justice, this election is for YOU. God bless America.
No matter who you voted for, I hope you can be proud of our country for how far we’ve come.

I’m so proud too! I just moved to this country and I’m sure America, with Obama, will make up for all the mistakes it’s made during the Bush administration.
It was really time for the minorities to be given a chance. And they were:)
I grew up in several racially mixed neighborhoods. I was a senior in high school in Miami, attending a school that was about 50% white, 30% black and 20% Cuban when I first learned that we od the fair skin weren’t supposed to get along with those of the other colors. I didn’t actually learn this by experience – but from thew media who kept making a big deal about it. Every time there was a hint of racial problems, they’d send film crews to my high school. Thing is, the film crews went home empty handed.
I am proud to be an American, and support my new president – even thought I didn’t vote form him.
This will not truly have success, I consider so. 8 8 check. Quite helpful piece of writing, thank you for this article. LINK site site. Well, I do not really imagine it is likely to have effect. 0 0 LINK. This can’t actually work, I suppose like this.
