Egads…
Memoir on hiatus until after Algebra midterm on Saturday morning. Wish me luck, pray for me, send me good thoughts, sacrifice a chicken…I’ll need help from every one!
In the meantime, to keep you occupied, consider yourself tagged and answer the following:
Who was:
1. The one who got away?
2. The one you probably should have loved but didn’t?
3. The “what do you mean you had a crush on me? I had a crush on you!” person?
4. The one who was so much fun but so much trouble?
5. The one you settled down with, either marriage or ltr?My answers:
1. Chris from highschool or Curtis from college.
2. Jeff from about six or seven years ago. He was really into me, but something was missing. Glad I held out for myself, but hated hurting him.
3. Chris from highschool, Tony from college, Ron from middle school (my longest crush besides Jackson Browne! I adored Ron from K-8.)
4. Dan, Curtis, Ronald, Robert…sigh…bad boys, but good…
5. Garth…things are working well on that front, and we’ll probably be cohabitating again by the first of November…yay!Have a good week! Send me math brains!

RYC: Oh gosh! Trouble is, in my humdrum life I come up goose eggs on all of these! Guess I spent too much time on my career and when I wasn’t doing that I was fighting depression. Two wives, no girlfriends and I’m now alone–I think I’ll just go out and down a bottle of Jim Beam (only kidding
Oh goodness, I’m so bad at math I’d be afraid to send you any vibes regarding it.
But I will wish you good luck!
Blessings upon your brain!
and yes I’m ok, this one is real with a very long story, and I’m losing probably the most intense love I’ve ever known…… I will survive, although I may bleed a little
Chris
Your tag was answered, my dear lady!
Ok ok, I answered too. Geesh you had to make me think.
And sending all the math vibes I have, but hoping they work better for you than they ever did fo rme.
Sending math brains!!!!
Oh, and good luck on the midterm!
Algebra midterms?! Blech! I’d send you math brains, but as you know, they don’t seem to coexist well with the writer’s mind.
ryc: Yes, that quote “Worry is a misuse of imagination” is one of my favorites. It has become a mantra. The second part was my own addition to it.
*sends math brains and vibes, thoughts, good wishes and anything else that will help*
You mentioned cohabiting again, was there a rift at one time?! Thank you for the words on my son!
All the best Janette! I don’t know what you do and you you’re taking an algebra test, but hold your head high and rock on! You seem arty and literary so I guess that’s why it’s such a difficult endeavour… but trust me I have friends with azero math brains who have passed most daunting Finance tests and are excelling in the banking industry.
Thank you for your encouraging comments on my blog. Look forward to them
Thanks. ’tis a nice place.
